Taunton is the historic County Town of Somerset. A wealth of historic detail and tradition abounds. The Castle and the museum are both sights to behold. Farmers street markets, livestock markets, produce markets, Vivary Park and the annual flower show brings visitors and exhibitors from all around the Country. A fantastic selection of restaurants, cafés and bistro’s await you. If your a cricket fan the County Ground is in the town centre and of course home to Somerset County Cricket Club, a venue where First Class cricket is played on the World stage
Within easy reach there are great days out whatever the weather including Cheddar Gorge and the World famous cave, Wookey Hole. Also, there is Clarke’s shopping village, Glastonbury, Exeter maritime museum, Bristol Docks and Bath Spa – the list is endless.
The AA graded the site FOUR Pennants and awarded us 87% which is one of the highest standards in Somerset and the with no doubt the best in the surrounding area. Come and see why we keep winning! We are the only 4 Pennant site in Taunton or the surrounding area.
We are always recommended by AA Caravan and Camping Guides and advertise also in the Alan Rogers Guide. In January 2011, Cornish Farm Touring Park were awarded in Vakantiebeurs, Holland the runners-up award for the “Best Motorhome site in Europe”.
We have a small shop on site, but being owned by the proprietors of Van Bitz we can offer fantastic deals for our customers from time to time.
